Privacy Policy

PipGoat is designed as a low-data website. The calculators are built to work without user accounts, document uploads, or requests for Social Security numbers, bank credentials, paystub files, W-2s, 1099s, or tax returns.

Information you enter into calculators

Calculator inputs are used to produce the estimate or explanation shown on the page. PipGoat does not ask you to upload personal financial documents.

Some tools may let you reproduce a result through URL parameters. If a URL contains numbers you entered, anyone you share that URL with may be able to see those numbers. Do not share a result URL if it contains information you consider private.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, PipGoat's hosting provider may process basic technical information needed to deliver the site, such as IP address, browser type, device information, referring page, requested URL, and time of request.

PipGoat may use privacy-conscious analytics, Cloudflare Web Analytics, Google Analytics, or Google Search Console to understand traffic, indexing, performance, and errors. These tools may process device, browser, usage, and approximate location information according to their own policies and settings.

Cookies and similar technologies

PipGoat does not currently require user accounts or login cookies. If analytics or security tools are added, they may use cookies or similar technologies depending on their configuration.

How information is used

• To operate and display the website.
• To calculate estimates based on numbers you enter.
• To improve pages, calculators, performance, and source accuracy.
• To detect errors, abuse, spam, or security issues.
• To respond if you contact the site operator.

Information sharing

PipGoat does not sell personal information. Information may be processed by service providers that help host, secure, measure, or operate the site. Information may also be disclosed if required by law or to protect the site, users, or others from abuse or security threats.

Children

PipGoat is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Do Not Track

Some browsers send Do Not Track signals. There is no common industry standard for responding to those signals, so PipGoat does not currently respond to them in a separate way.

Your choices

• Do not enter information you do not want processed by the page.
• Do not upload or send paystubs, tax forms, account numbers, or personal financial documents.
• Use your browser settings to limit cookies, block scripts, or clear local data.

Changes to this policy

PipGoat may update this Privacy Policy as the site changes, especially if analytics, contact forms, advertising, or account features are added. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when the policy changes.
